Hi, I am Sindhana, a postdoctoral scholar in the Yuen-Zhou group at the University of California San Diego. Currently, I am studying how strong light-matter coupling affects physical and chemical processes such as radiative heat transfer and reactions.
I completed my B.S.-M.S. in Physics (2013-2018) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru where I worked with Prof. Prabal Maiti. Subsequently, I pursued a Ph.D. in Chemistry (2018-2023) at the University of California San Diego working with Prof. Joel Yuen-Zhou. My work focused on condensation, reactivity and topology of polaritonic systems.
